Before we talk features, it is important to understand why we built it this way. Because in enterprise IT, how AI behaves matters as much as what it can do.
The Problem We Are Solving
If you run Stratusphere UX today, you already collect rich telemetry across your endpoint estate. Performance data. User experience metrics. Configuration details. Resource utilization patterns.
The challenge has never been data collection. It has been making sense of it all, fast enough to act before a problem becomes a ticket.
Your team knows the data is there. They know the answers are in it. But finding the right insight at the right time across thousands of endpoints takes hours of manual analysis. That is the gap we are closing.
What the AI Plugin Does
The Stratusphere UX AI Plugin connects AI directly to the data your Liquidware tools already produce. No new agents on your endpoints. No new data collection. No changes to your environment.
Here is what it delivers:
Pattern analysis at scale. The plugin analyses telemetry across your entire endpoint estate and identifies performance anomalies, resource contention, user experience degradation, and configuration drift. The patterns that would take your team hours to find manually surface in second
Your choice of AI provider. The plugin is not locked to a single AI vendor. You choose the provider that fits your organization’s policies and preferences.
PII stays in your tenant. Your data never leaves your environment. There is no data exfiltration to third-party models. No training on your telemetry. Full control stays with your team.
Zero footprint on your endpoints. The plugin works with existing Stratusphere UX data. Nothing is installed on, changed on, or pushed to your endpoints
Why We Built It Read-Only
This is where we made a deliberate decision that sets us apart from what you are hearing from other vendors in the DEX and EUC space.
The AI Plugin is read-only. It analyses and identifies. It does not take autonomous action on your environment.
We did not arrive at this by accident. We looked at what the market is actually saying about autonomous AI agents, and the message is clear:
- 52% of enterprise leaders cite security, privacy, or compliance concerns as the top barrier to deploying agentic AI (Dynatrace, 2026).
- 75% of tech leaders cite governance as their primary AI deployment challenge. Gartner projects 40% of agentic AI projects will fail by 2027.
- 28% of executives rank lack of trust in AI agents as a top-three challenge, dropping to just 20% trust for financial transactions (PwC, 2025).
- Out of 1,837 respondents in a production readiness survey, only 95 had AI agents live in production (Cleanlab, 2025).
The pattern is consistent across every major survey: organizations want AI to help them work smarter. They do not want AI making changes in their environment without human oversight.
A Real-World Warning
This is not theoretical. In December 2025, Amazon’s own AI coding agent, Kiro, caused a 13-hour AWS outage after autonomously deciding to delete and recreate a live production environment (Financial Times, Feb 2026). The agent had the same permissions as the engineer it was assisting. No second approval was required.
Amazon called it user error. Their own employees called the outages “entirely foreseeable.”
If autonomous AI agents can cause outages at AWS, the company running 30% of the global cloud, it should give every IT team pause.
Our Roadmap Philosophy
We are not against autonomous AI. We believe it will play an important role in EUC and DEX. But we also believe you cannot skip steps.
The path to trusted automation is a sequence:
- See. Collect and centralise the right telemetry. Stratusphere UX already does this.
- Understand. Apply AI to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes across that telemetry. This is what the AI Plugin delivers at launch.
- Recommend. Surface specific, actionable guidance with full context. Your team evaluates and decides. This is where the AI Insights Plugin takes us next.
- Act. Only when the AI has proven it understands your environment and your team trusts its judgment does autonomous action become appropriate.
The AI Plugin launches at stage two. AI Insights will deliver stage three. We will evolve along this roadmap. But we will not skip steps, and we will not put your environment at risk to win a feature checkbox.
