David Bieneman – Founder and CEO
David has a track record of success in virtualization startup companies, having launched Vizioncore Inc. in 2002 as a software development company focused on enhancing Citrix Systems. Vizioncore grew to a multi-million dollar business that set the standard for image back-ups and disaster recovery in the virtualization community. In 2009, David founded Liquidware to innovate virtualization solutions to support next-generation virtual and physical workspaces. With more than 20 years’ experience working with thin client and virtualization technologies, David is very active in developing cutting-edge technologies to complement existing virtualization platforms.
Jason Mattox – CTO
Jason is known for his world-class knowledge and leadership in virtual end user computing. From the early 1990s, he was building on-demand desktops in server based computing environments with users hosted in the datacenter. As a founding member of the team, Jason spent almost nine years at Vizioncore as CTO prior to its acquisition by Quest Software where he continued to serve as the Director and Chief Technologist through early 2011. Jason regularly contributes to industry blogs on a number of virtualization topics and remains excited about using his considerable expertise to build affordable, yet scalable enterprise level software to bring desktop virtualization to the masses.
Grace Krokidas – VP, Worldwide Marketing
Grace joined Liquidware as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. In this role, she is tasked with building its visibility with media and analysts, as well as to drive awareness and education for customers and collaboration with partners. Grace has had a long-term presence in the virtualization and workspaces community by providing strong support for the user groups and bloggers who were early evangelists in these industries. Previous to Liquidware, she created marketing strategy and channel programs for Vizioncore, Zebra Technologies, Sun Microsystems, Ricoh Business Systems and DeVry University, among others.
Jason E. Smith – VP, Product Marketing, Alliances
Jason has led and advised numerous successful systems management and security technology companies for more than 15 years. In addition to his long running role as a marketing consultant in the industry, he currently serves as Product Director for Liquidware’s leading User and Application Virtualization solution. He also spearheads all co-marketing endeavors with Liquidware’s key alliance partners, including Microsoft, Amazon, Nutanix and IGEL, among others. He is also the creator of the “Inside Track” an ongoing communications channel for the leading bloggers and other media who follow digital workspace management trends.
Chris Walker – Senior Solutions Engineer, Stratusphere UX
Chris is an established IT veteran and virtualization monitoring expert who has been involved with integration initiatives for 20+ years. Chris has worked on many mission-critical systems upgrade projects for the healthcare, medical and legal industries, where he was responsible for high- end network design as well as designing storage area networks and server virtualization solutions to support critical high availability applications.
Johnny Ma – Senior Solutions Architect
Johnny’s long tenure in professional IT roles, includes being a multiple-time Citrix Technology Advocate (CTA) and proponent of community. He has extensive experience in the virtualization space where he specialized in architecting desktop virtualization and application delivery solutions. In his free time, he leads Colorado’s Citrix User Group Community (CUGC) helping align the community to collaborate and discuss Citrix technologies.
Thomas Lahaussois – Senior Solutions Architect — Alliances
Thomas is an industry expert with over 20 years’ experience in desktop and virtualization. Focusing on new technologies and emerging markets, Thomas has held sales, management and technical positions in Europe and North America, notably developing one of the first virtualization practice before joining Liquidware to develop its alliance practice.
Andreas Van Wingerden – Senior Solutions Architect
Andreas has been in the end-user computing space since the early 2000. Storytelling is his forte, always trying to explain complex things in the simplest way possible. His motto is: Why; Why do we do the things we do?
Jack Smith – Senior Solutions Architect
24 year veteran of the IT wars, having worked with all things VDI for 20 of those years. Likes long walks on the beach, fall leaves and fruity drinks with umbrellas. Looking to make a real connection with the right organization and see where things go.

Through his years as a consultant for desktop and application delivery practices across industries, he has a broad knowledge of the end-user computing ecosystem, which he uses today when advising clients on their digital workspace objectives.
